Park in Semanggi Area Guarded By Satpol PP

Around 100 officers of Satpol PP are alerted under Semanggi Bridge, South Jakarta, Friday (11/4). It is conducted to maximize security during demonstration, as well as guard parks and block street vendor (PKL).

Section Head of Supervision and Control towards Business, Entertainment Venue and Recreation for Jakarta Satpol PP, Saigor Polmatua Gultom disclosed personnel who alerted are from local sub-districts in South Jakarta.

"Satpol PP in Semanggi supports army and police personnel in term of security. Our focus is to secure facility and infrastructure especially damaged park. Park around Semanggi has been maintained," he expressed.

Based on Beritajakarta.com's data, on the east side, there are seen tens of Satpol PP, Jakarta Transportation Dept and police. Then on west side, Brimob and Transportation Dept personnel are also seen on guard.

"Thus far, the situation is under control. Moreover, the park must also be sterile from PKL," he said.
